Working with the foundation, my team developed a brand identity that would distinctly mark 500 Capp Street as the new and unique, arts and culture institution in our community. Taking inspiration from Ireland’s home, and professional work, we presented the client with a spectrum of marks ranging from heritage to modernism.
The final mark presents a bold and visually striking identity, and pulls inspiration from David’s “Dumballs” series – sculptural concrete spheres made by tossing wet cement between glove hands until cured.
